If you go near Naku Baug, you’ll find us at Plot No. 103 in the Sagar Complex. We’ve been at Jashonath Chowk for quite a bit now. It’s a very busy corner of the town with people always rushing around. Maple International is what we call the business on the paperwork, but to us, it’s just the office where we come to work every single morning. We deal with various international bits and pieces, mostly trading and logistics. There’s always piles of paperwork on the desks and the phones are usually ringing. It’s not a quiet office, that’s for sure. We handle a lot of the boring stuff like moving things from one place to another across borders. Some days the shipments are late and everyone is a bit stressed out, but that’s just part of the deal. We don’t have a fancy lobby with a receptionist. Just some old chairs and a lot of filing cabinets. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we know how to help each other when things get busy. We mostly focus on making sure the orders go out when they should. It’s a lot of checking long lists and calling people to see where the trucks are. Jashonath Chowk is a good spot because we are close to everything we need. We see the same people every day at the little tea stall nearby. We don’t have a big corporate story. We just do the work, lock the doors in the evening, and come back. It is a straightforward way to make a living.
