Raghav Krishi Clinic

Our clinic, Raghav Krishi Clinic, is over in Rustampura at units 502 and 503. It isn't a medical clinic for people, but more of a place for agricultural help. Farmers from the nearby areas come in to ask about their crops or show us some bugs they found in their fields. We have bags of seeds and different bottles of treatments stacked up against the walls. It is a very practical and dusty place. We spend a lot of time looking at soil samples or damaged leaves under a magnifying glass. It gets really busy when the planting season starts. Everyone is in a rush to get what they need before the rain comes. We have a small desk where we keep all our notes and a few old books about plant diseases. The building is just a basic concrete structure and it can get quite warm in the summer. We have a couple of ceiling fans that make a lot of noise, but they help a bit. It’s a place where you can come and talk about your farm without any fancy talk. We just listen to what the problem is and try to give a suggestion on what might help the harvest. Most days we are just chatting about the weather and how the market is doing for the local crops and the upcoming season. It's steady work that keeps us connected to the land around here.
