Samarth Agro Clinic

Out on Vinzol Road, you’ll find us at 48/334. Samarth Agro Clinic is basically a place where farmers come to talk. We have bags of seeds and different bottles on the shelves. It’s dusty because of the road right outside. We spend a lot of time looking at leaves or pictures on people's phones. They want to know what's wrong with their crops. I’m not a scientist, just someone who’s seen a lot of harvests and knows what usually works. We have a few plastic chairs for people to sit while we figure things out. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit in the doorway to get some light. The floor is concrete and it’s seen a lot of mud from people's boots. We keep a ledger to write down what people take. It’s a quiet life mostly. We hear the tractors going past all day. We try to keep the stock organized but sometimes the new shipments just sit in the middle of the room for a day or two. It’s just the way it goes when you’re busy with someone who has a problem. We drink a lot of water because it gets dry out here. People stop by not just for supplies, but to complain about the weather or the low prices. We listen to everyone. That’s a big part of what we do at Samarth. We lock up when the sun goes down.
