Our little shop is tucked away in Mahidharpura. It’s not the biggest place on the street but we’ve got what people need when it comes to mobile phones and recharges. Most days it’s just us behind the counter handling whatever comes through the door. Some people want the latest models they saw on the internet and others just want a basic phone that actually makes calls. We try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves, though it gets crowded fast. The area around here is always moving, lots of traffic and people heading to work. We’ve been in Mahidharpura long enough to know most of the regulars who stop by for their monthly data packs. It isn't always easy keeping track of all the different plans the companies keep changing every other week. We spend a lot of time explaining those to customers who get confused by the fine print. Sometimes we have to deal with old phones that just won’t turn on no matter what we try. We aren't miracle workers, just people who know a bit about electronics. The shop gets a bit hot in the afternoons but that’s just part of life here. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just keep the doors open and do the work. It’s a simple setup and it works for us. We’re just glad to be part of the local community here in our corner of the city.
