Mangukiya Chemist

We set up Mangukiya Chemist right on Varachha Road, near the L.H. Road intersection. It’s a spot that sees a lot of traffic and people moving about all day long. Being on Varachha Road means we stay pretty busy from the moment we open the shutters. We stock a variety of medicines and health products that the local community asks for. The shop is basically a long room with shelves lining both sides. We don't have a huge staff, just enough to handle the customers and keep the records straight. It can get a bit loud outside with all the bikes and cars, but we’re used to it by now. We spend our time checking expiry dates and making sure we have enough of the common stuff in the back room. It’s a practical business, nothing too over the top. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done by hand in our ledgers. The neighborhood is full of hard-working people, and we try to match that energy every day. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we’re always wiping down the glass counters. It’s just a regular chemist shop where you can get what you need without any fuss or waiting around too long. We’ve been at this location for years, and it feels like home to us now. It’s just a simple job of helping folks get their medicine.
