Mangal STD & Mobile

Mangal STD & Mobile is located in the Ramashree Chamber along Varachha Road. We started out back when STD booths were everywhere, and we’ve just kept going by adding mobile services as things changed. The shop is in an older building, so it has that lived-in feel to it. We still have a few of the old booths, though they don’t get used like they used to. Now, most people come in for mobile recharges, new SIM cards, or to get their phones looked at. Varachha Road is a very hectic place, and our shop is like a small quiet spot amidst all that chaos. We have a few chairs where people can sit while they wait for their phone to update or for a payment to go through. It’s mostly a one-man show, though my younger brother helps out during the holidays. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just rely on being here every day for the people who work and live in this part of town. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but that's just part of life here. We know our customers by name, and they know us. We just keep the shop running as best we can, providing the basic mobile services everyone needs these days. It is a simple life in the Ramashree Chamber and we are used to the noise outside.
