Being next to Kothari Hospital in Sagrampura means we get all kinds of people. Some are just waiting for news and need a quick charger or their battery died. We are right on V P Road, which is a narrow but packed street. Lucky Telecom isn't a huge store with bright lights. It’s more like a practical corner where you get what you need. I keep a stack of SIM cards ready because people always need them in a hurry. The shop has a bit of an old smell, like paper and electronics mixed together. I have a wooden stool behind the counter that’s been there since day one. It creaks every time I sit down. I handle most of the walk-ins myself. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the door, so we keep a bucket handy during the monsoon. It’s not perfect, but it works for us. We have those glass jars full of small spare parts like buttons and charging ports. I try to keep the place organized, but by five in the evening, there are wires everywhere. We don't have any fancy posters, just some old calendars on the wall. Most of our customers are locals who live in the lanes nearby. They know us by name. It’s a busy life, but it’s a good one. We just take it one day at a time here on V P Road, serving whoever walks through the door.
