Light House

Light House is over at Kathor Deonar, specifically at A 44. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate but we've been here long enough that people find us. We sell all kinds of bulbs and fixtures. Sometimes people come in looking for a specific fuse and we have to dig through the drawers to find it. It's a bit dusty in the corners. I work here with my cousin most days. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in town. We just want to make sure the locals have what they need when their kitchen light goes out. The shop isn't very big, so we stack things high. You have to be careful not to knock anything over. We get a lot of regulars from the surrounding buildings. They usually stay for a chat even after they've bought what they came for. It's nice having that connection. The rent is okay and the neighbors are friendly. We open early because that's when the contractors are out looking for supplies. By evening, it's mostly just families picking up a spare lamp. It’s a simple business. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. Just the shop and the stuff inside it. It works for us. I usually spend my time testing the old stock to make sure it still works. It's a quiet way to earn a living here in the city.
