Levees

We have been here in Salabatpura for a while now. Most people around here know us by the name Levees. It is just a small place where we handle our daily work and try to keep things moving. It gets quite busy in this part of town during the day, especially with all the traffic and people moving about the streets. We usually open up early in the morning and stay until the evening shadows start to fall. My father actually started this business and now I help him run everything. We do not have any fancy displays or bright neon signs like the big stores do. It is mostly about getting the job done for whoever happens to walk through the door. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a bit or have a cup of tea. We know most of the faces in this part of Salabatpura. It is a crowded area but it really feels like home to us after all these years. Our shop isn’t hard to find if you are familiar with these streets. We keep our daily operations pretty simple and straightforward. There is always something to do, whether it is sorting through our stock or talking to a regular visitor who stopped in. Some days are much slower than others, but that is just how it goes when you run a local business. We try to be fair and just do honest work every day. People seem to appreciate that.
