Lets Skill India Foundation

You can find us over at Survey No.37/3/5 in Saijyot Park, which is in the Rathani area. It’s a bit of a specific address, so we usually tell people to look for the park first. Lets Skill India Foundation has been operating from this spot for a while. It’s not a huge building, just a practical space where we can get together and work on things. We don’t have a big front desk or a lobby, just the rooms we use for the skills work. Some days the place is full of people and it gets a bit noisy, but that’s just part of it. We like being in Rathani. It feels like a real neighborhood. We aren't trying to be some big corporation with glass walls. We’re just a foundation doing work on the ground level. We handle a lot of the day-to-day tasks ourselves, from cleaning the floors to answering the phones. It keeps us busy. The chairs aren't the newest and the walls could maybe use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. People come by when they want to learn something new or see what we’re up to. We just take things one day at a time here. It’s a simple life at the foundation. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit muddy, but we don't mind. We just keep the door open for anyone who needs us. It isn't much, but it's where we get things done.
