At Kushal Textile Institute, we are all about fabrics and sewing. You can find us at Sagrampura 4th Cross, Shantinagar 202. It is a fairly old building, but it has a lot of character. We have been working with textiles here for quite some time now. The rooms are usually filled with the sound of sewing machines and the smell of fresh cloth. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We don't have a polished showroom. Instead, we have tables piled high with different materials and patterns. Sagrampura is a lively part of the city. There is always something happening on the street outside. Sometimes the noise from the 4th Cross can be a bit much, but we get used to it. We spend our days teaching people how to work with textiles or finishing up specific orders. It’s a lot of manual work and your hands get tired by the end of the day. Kushal Textile Institute is a small operation. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Most people hear about us from their friends or family. We just try to do a good job with every piece of fabric that comes through our doors. It’s a simple life, but it’s what we know. If you walk past Shantinagar 202, you’ll probably see us through the window working on some new design. We aren't fast, but we are careful.
