Kudrat Light

You can find us at 91 Kohinoor Society. We are right by Sardar Chowk, which is always crowded because of the Mini Bazar on Varachha Road. The noise from the traffic is constant, but inside our shop, things are a bit more focused. We deal with all kinds of lights. The space is mostly crammed with boxes of bulbs and coils of wire. It’s not a very organized place, to be honest. There’s always something sitting on the counter that needs fixing or testing. We’ve been here long enough that we don't really notice the chaos of the market outside anymore. My cousin helps me out most days, especially when the local shops need new fixtures. It’s a lot of fiddling with small parts and checking connections. We don't have a big showroom with bright displays. It’s more of a workshop where we keep the inventory people need. Sometimes we run out of a specific fuse and have to wait for the next delivery, which makes things slow. The power goes out once in a while, which is just part of living in this area. We just sit out front and wait for it to come back. It’s a simple business, and we like the people who come in from the society to chat. We just keep the lights on for the neighborhood and try to stay on top of the stock.
