Anand Industrial

Our place is at Plot No- A 35 in the Iksha GIDC Industrial Area. We are located near the Euro India building, which is a pretty big landmark around here. Being in a GIDC zone means we are surrounded by factories and the sound of machinery is pretty much the background music to our day. The plot is quite large, with a big workshop area and a small section partitioned off for the office work. The floors are concrete and usually have a few scuffs from moving heavy parts around. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for a long time. The office is nothing special, just some sturdy wooden desks and a few filing cabinets for the paperwork. We spend most of our time out on the floor rather than sitting behind a computer. The dust from the industrial road outside is a constant battle, and we have to wipe down the machines every morning before we start. Lunch happens in a small break area where we have a gas stove for making tea. It’s not a fancy environment, but it’s where we feel most at home. We know the other business owners on this street and we often lend each other tools or help out when a delivery truck gets stuck. It’s a hardworking part of town and we fit right in with the rest of the industrial units. We stay busy from morning until late evening.
