We are up on the 14th floor of Aaditya Aawas, right in the middle of the Umarwada area. Being near Bombay Market means there is always something going on downstairs. It is one of the busiest parts of the city for anyone in the textile trade. From our windows, you can see all the trucks and rickshaws moving goods all day long. We have been here for a bit now, and the 1405 unit is where we handle all our industry stuff. It’s a lot of climbing if the power goes out, but luckily that doesn't happen too often. We are an LLP, so it’s a partnership where we all pitch in. The space is filled with files and some fabric bits here and there. It isn't the cleanest or most organized office, but we know where everything is. We don't really have a front desk or a receptionist because we are usually too busy working on the actual orders. People just knock and come in. It is a very practical way to work. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because it doesn't help the business grow. We prefer to focus on the fabric and making sure our customers are getting what they asked for. It is hard work, but we are used to the pace of Bombay Market by now. Every day brings a different challenge. We just keep moving and doing what needs to be done.
