We are set up in the Kuberji Silk Market, right there in the Umarwada area. Our office is G/28 on the upper ground floor. If you know the Sahara Darwaja area, you know how hectic it can get. It’s a real hub for the silk trade. We’re right in the middle of it all, which is handy because everything we need is just a short walk away. The market is always loud, with people shouting and carts moving back and forth all day long. Inside our small office, it’s a little more controlled, though the noise from the hallway still leaks in. We handle sizing here. It’s a lot of technical work and keeping track of specific requirements for the threads. We’ve got our ledgers and our computers, and we just spend the day going through the numbers. There isn't much room for fluff in a place like this. You just get in, do your job, and make sure the customers get what they asked for. Sometimes we grab a snack from the vendors outside when things get really busy. The ground floor is always crowded, so getting to the office can be a bit of a squeeze sometimes. But we like the energy of the market. It keeps us moving. We’ve been part of this market for a good bit now and we know the rhythms of the place. It's just a regular office life in a very busy part of the city.
