You’ll find us way up on the seventh floor of the Shukan Rivera building. We’re in Wing-A, specifically flat 702. Being up that high gives us a decent view of the Singapore Cauway Road area, which is always packed with traffic and people moving about. We’ve been here in Surat for a while now, focusing on our fabric work. It’s a bit of a trek up the elevator every morning, but the office is quiet enough for us to focus. We spend most of our time looking over samples and managing the various orders that come through. It’s not a huge operation, just a handful of us making sure things don’t fall through the cracks. The building is fairly well-known in this part of town, so it’s easy enough for people to find us when they need to drop off something or have a quick meeting. We have our desks set up near the windows. Sometimes the sun hits the glass and it gets quite warm, but we don't really mind. We’ve got our routine down. Every day starts with a cup of tea and a look at what needs to be shipped out or checked. It's just honest work, really. We don't feel the need to dress it up. We’re just here doing our bit in the local textile scene, trying to keep things moving along smoothly. It’s a lot of work but we’re glad to be part of the community here.
