Khushi Telecom

Khushi Telecom is situated along the Rander Sarkhej Bavla Road. It’s a long road and we are in one of the small patches of shops there. I set this up because I wanted to work for myself and not for someone else. I mostly deal with mobile recharges, SIM cards, and small accessories like earphones or screen protectors. The shop is quite modest and small. I have a few display cases that I bought second-hand when I first opened up. They have some scratches on the glass, but they hold the goods just fine. Being on this road means we get a lot of people who are just passing through on their way somewhere else. I also have some regular customers from the nearby houses who come in every month. I do some very basic phone troubleshooting, like helping people who can't get their data to work or forgot their unlock codes. I’m not an engineer, but I’ve learned a lot just by doing it every single day for years. The weather can make it tough sometimes, especially when it gets really hot in the afternoon or when the rain starts blowing in through the front door. I just pull the metal screen down a bit and keep going. It’s not a fancy corporate life, but it suits me well enough. I like being my own boss and knowing the names of the people who stop by. We just keep things simple and honest here.
