If you go down Varachha Road, you will find us at number 138. It is a busy stretch of road and there is always noise from the horns and the people walking by. Our shop is mostly filled with glass cases where we keep the phones and all the colorful covers people like. We spend a lot of time putting on those tempered glass screen protectors. It is tricky work because if a tiny bit of dust gets under there, it looks bad and you have to start over. People come in mostly for recharges or because their charging port stopped working. We have a small stool in the back where we sit and do the repairs. The light isn't great back there but we make do with a desk lamp. Sometimes we have to explain to people that their phone is too old to fix, which is never a fun conversation. We also sell some second-hand sets when we have them in stock. Those go pretty fast. The floor is tile and it gets dirty fast with everyone coming in from the street, so we have to mop it more than we would like. In the evenings, the street lights come on and it gets even busier outside. We stay open late because that is when most people are heading home and remember they need something for their mobile. It is a lot of work and our eyes get tired, but it is what we do to get by.
