Kavay Telecom

Kavay Telecom is over at Parvat A 7 which is a decent enough location for what we do. We mainly focus on recharges and selling basic mobile phones. The shop is basically one room with a counter and a few display cases. We have been here for several years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There used to be fewer buildings around but now it is getting quite crowded. We spend a lot of time helping older people figure out how to use their new smartphones. It takes some patience because the technology changes so fast and it can be confusing for them. We do not have a fancy website or anything like that because most of our business comes from people just walking past on the street. The floor is made of grey stone and it stays cool even when the sun is beating down outside. We have a small television in the corner that we keep on for the news or some music while we wait for customers. Sometimes we run out of certain scratch cards and have to wait for the distributor to come by on his scooter. It is a humble business and we do not try to make it seem like more than it is. We just open up the shutters every morning and see who comes through the door. It is honest work for people like us.
