Our office for Kamdhenu Seeds Pvt. Ltd. is in Lakhani Chambers, specifically unit 101. We are right at the Varachha Road Char Rasta, which is a very busy intersection. There’s always someone honking or a crowd crossing the street nearby. Being on the ground floor or first level makes it easy for people to find us without wandering through the whole building. The office is full of seed catalogs and sample bags. It smells a bit earthy in here sometimes. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and suppliers on the phone. The desks are a bit cluttered with order forms and notes scribbled on scraps of paper. We don't have a professional interior designer or anything. We just put the desks where they fit. Lakhani Chambers is an older building but it’s sturdy. We like being at the Char Rasta because it’s a central point for everyone. Sometimes we have to move boxes around to make space for a visitor to sit down. It’s a busy place and we are usually working through our lunch breaks. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees, just a dedicated group of people. We deal with the seasons and the weather just like the people we sell to. It’s a practical business. You won't find any fancy art or expensive carpets here. Just a place where we get the job done every day.
