Kabra Mukesh

The office is over at 1006 Ring Road, inside Rathi Palace. If you know G A D Nagar, you know how busy it gets around here. It isn't a fancy place, just where we do our work every day. Mukesh started this thing quite a while ago and it’s mostly just been about keeping things moving. We have a lot of old files stacked up and the desk is usually a bit of a mess because there is always something to do. People come in and out from the street, and the noise from the Ring Road never really stops. You get used to it after a few years, I guess. The building itself, Rathi Palace, has seen better days but it works for us. We don't really have a big sign or anything like that. Most people who come here already know where we are. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to get through the pile of paperwork. Sometimes the tea guy is late and that’s the biggest drama of the morning. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. It’s practical. There’s a ceiling fan that makes a bit of a clicking sound but it keeps the air moving. We just sit here, do the work, and then head home when the sun goes down. It's a simple life really, nothing like what you see in the movies or those big corporate offices in the city center. Just us at 1006.
