Delhi Gate is a hectic place to have a business, but we’ve been here at Jealpharma for quite some time now. There is always a lot of shouting and horns honking right outside the door. It’s the kind of area where you have to watch your step because of all the carts and bikes moving through the narrow spaces. Our office isn't very big, so we have to be smart about how we stack the boxes. If you put the heavy ones at the bottom, it's a pain to get them out later. We spend a lot of time on the phone, mostly checking on where the delivery boys are. It feels like the city never really stops moving around us. The walls are a bit stained from years of use, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound on its highest setting. We usually eat our lunch together at the back desk, squeezed between stacks of paperwork and samples. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour in the afternoon, and we just sit there in the dark chatting until it comes back on. It’s just the way things are in this part of town. We don't have fancy brochures or anything like that. People find us because they know the gate area well. It’s a lot of manual work, moving stock and checking dates, but it keeps us on our feet all day long.
