Jay Chemist

We’ve been running Jay Chemist for a while now here on Ambaji Road. If you know Bhagal, you know how busy it gets around Shop No 9/820. Every morning we roll up the shutters and start setting things up. It’s a lot of work keeping the shelves organized because people are always coming in for their prescriptions or just some basic supplies. Being in Wadi Faliya, we see a lot of familiar faces from the neighborhood. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we try to keep what people need. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, but that’s just how it is in Surat. We spend most of our day checking stock and talking to people who stop by. Usually, it's folks who live right here in Bhagal and don't want to go far for their medicine. We know the corners of this area pretty well. The shop isn't huge, but we make use of the space we have. It’s just us doing our job every day, making sure we don’t run out of the common stuff. Most people come in with a list or a note from their doctor. We just take the time to find what’s asked for. It feels good being a part of this street. It’s a simple life, mostly just counting boxes and helping out whoever walks through the door. It’s just us being there on Ambaji Road for the locals.
