J. D. Refrigeration

J. D. Refrigeration is tucked away inside the Jinwala Compound. We are specifically at 80, Prakash Indl. Estate, which is part of Shakti Industries. If you know where Kadodara Char Rasta is, we aren’t far from there. It’s a pretty busy spot with a lot of different businesses all packed in together. We spend our time fixing and looking after cooling systems. It’s ironic, but the workshop can actually get quite warm when we are working on several units at once. There’s usually copper tubing and refrigerant tanks sitting around. We aren't a big corporation with a tall building. We’re just a small crew working out of this spot in the industrial estate. Most of our day is spent with our hands inside a machine, trying to find a leak or fixing a motor that’s given up. It’s not always clean work, and we often go home with some grease on our shirts. The traffic at Kadodara Char Rasta can be a headache sometimes, especially when we’re trying to head out for a site visit. But we’ve lived with it for years. We just take the calls as they come. People know where to find us if they need help with their refrigeration. We just do the work, pack up our tools, and get ready for the next day. It’s simple, and it keeps us busy enough in the Jinwala Compound.
