J C Tex-Tech Llp

We’re over in Somnath Mahadev Society, tucked behind the Sargam Shopping area near Parle Point Road. It’s a decent spot in Surat, pretty easy to find if you know where Ichchhanath is. We occupy E 2 and it’s mostly where we handle the technical side of things for J C Tex-Tech. It’s not your typical loud factory; it’s more of a place where we sit down and look at the specs and the technical details of the fabrics we deal with. We have a lot of samples lying around on every available surface, which makes the place look a bit cluttered. Sometimes it feels a bit small when we have new rolls coming in for testing and we have to shuffle furniture around. The guys here have been working in textiles for years, so we don't need a lot of instructions to get things done. We just show up, check the schedule, and start working through the pile. The neighborhood is pretty active with the shopping center right there, so there's always something going on outside our door. We don’t really do big advertising or anything like that. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been in the trade a long time too. It's a lot of manual checking and making sure the setups are right for whatever batch we are doing next. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep the place from getting too dusty, but with fabric, that is basically impossible.
