Grids Architects And Interior Designers

We work out of a house in Dahima Nagar Society, over on Rander Road. Specifically, it's A 42. It’s in the Jhangirabad area. We like having our office in a residential society because it feels more like a real home, which makes sense since that’s what we design. We do architecture and interior work, mostly for people around this part of Surat. Our space is usually covered in samples of tiles, wood finishes, and sketches. It can get pretty messy when we're in the middle of a big project. We don't have a big staff, just a handful of us who like drawing and figuring out how to make a room look decent. We spend a lot of time driving around to different construction sites to make sure the workers are following the plans. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes a bit of arguing to get things right. We don't pretend to know everything, but we've been doing this long enough to know what usually works and what doesn't. We just take it one project at a time. Clients come over and we sit at the big table to go over their ideas. It's not a formal corporate environment. We just drink our coffee and try to draw something that people will actually like living in. Rander Road is always busy, but once you step into the society, it gets a bit calmer and easier to focus.
