Ambica Cement

We spend most of our time here at Surat 3Rd Cross, 8Th 'A' Main. Dealing with cement is dusty work and it keeps us busy from morning until late. The shop is right in the Rmv Extension area. People come in looking for bags of cement for their house repairs or sometimes bigger builds. We just unload the trucks and stack the bags where they need to go. It is not fancy here. There is always a layer of grey dust on the desk and the chairs, but that is just how it goes when you work with building materials. We have been in this spot for a while now. Most days it is just about checking the stock and making sure we have enough for whoever stops by. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard for the delivery lorries to turn in, but we manage. My hands are usually dry from the lime in the cement, and the guys working out back are always moving heavy stuff around. It is basic work. We open the shutters early. If someone needs a few bags, we load them up. If the weather is rainy, we have to be extra careful to keep everything dry because wet cement is just a waste of money. It is a steady life. We know the neighbors and the regulars who pass by this part of the extension every day. It's mostly about lifting, loading, and keeping the stock moving.
