You can find Govindam Tex Industries on the 7th floor of the Jeevandeep Complex. We are in office 705, right by the Khatodra-Char Rasta on Ring Road. Surat is famous for its textiles, and we are right in the thick of it. Being on the 7th floor gives us a bit of a view of the busy traffic below. It’s a loud, fast-moving part of the city. We spend our time dealing with various textile industry needs. It’s mostly about coordinating with mills and making sure the orders are being processed. Our office is often filled with stacks of sample folders and fabric swatches. We aren't very formal here; you’ll usually find us in regular clothes just trying to get through the to-do list. The elevator in the complex can be slow during peak hours, which is a bit of a nuisance. But we’ve been in this spot for a while and it works for us. We don't have any big mission statements or shiny brochures. We just do the work that needs doing. It’s a lot of phone calls and ledger entries. Ring Road is always jammed, but that’s just Surat for you. We’re just a small part of the big textile world here, trying to stay organized and keep things moving. The tea lady comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take our only real breaks.
