Gokul Krishna Fabrics Private Limited is over in the Magob area of Surat. We are up on the fifth floor of the N J Complex, specifically in A-504. If you are driving down Puna Kumbhariya Road, you can’t miss the CNG pump right across from us. It’s a very busy stretch of road and there is always a line of rickshaws waiting for gas. Up here on the fifth floor, it is a bit quieter than the street level, but you can still hear the horns honking all day long. We spend most of our time looking at fabric samples and talking to people on the phone. The elevators in this building can be a bit slow when everyone is trying to move goods at the same time, so we often find ourselves waiting around. It is just part of the daily routine in Surat. The office space is packed with rolls of cloth and folders. We keep things simple because that is what works for us. There is no need for anything flashy when you are just trying to run a business. Most of the staff has been together for a while and we know how things operate. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten at the small table in the back. By the time five o'clock rolls around, the traffic outside is even worse, but that is just how life is in this part of town.
