Our little setup is over in Udhna, right behind where the Dena Bank sits in Patel Colony. If you know Surat, you know that this area is always moving. Girdhari International has been operating from this spot for a good bit of time now, and we’ve become part of the local scenery here in the village area. The office is actually listed under Shalini Kamal Agrawal's care. It’s a simple place, nothing too polished or corporate, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of ledgers and files stacked up. We spend our days dealing with international trade details which mostly means a lot of back-and-forth on the phone and checking on various shipments. The humidity in Surat can be a bit much in the summer, but the tea stall nearby keeps us going. Most of the people around here are also in some kind of trade or textile work, so there is always someone to talk to about the market. We don't spend money on big signs or flashy lights. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure our connections in the industry stay solid. It’s practical work that requires a lot of patience, especially when things get stuck in transit or the paperwork gets complicated. We just take it one day at a time, sitting here in Udhna, trying to keep everything organized and moving toward the next goal without too much fuss.
