Ganesh Mobile

Ganesh Mobile is located at A 121 in the Athwa area. It is a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our door. We have a small shop that is mostly taken up by the repair bench and the display racks for phone cases. We have cases in almost every color, though the black ones always sell out first. I’ve been working here since I finished school. It is just me and one other guy who helps with the software side of things. Sometimes people come in really upset because they lost their photos or their phone fell in water. We can’t always fix everything, but we take a look and see what can be done. The air conditioner in here is a bit old and makes a humming sound, but it keeps the place cool enough during the summer heat. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of our customers are people who live in the nearby buildings or work in the shops down the street. We keep a ledger on the counter to track the repairs and who has paid their deposit. It’s a very manual way of doing things, but it works for us. Usually, we are open until the street lights come on and the traffic starts to thin out. It’s just a regular life in a busy corner of Athwa. We sometimes share a cup of tea with the customers while we wait for a backup to finish.
