Ganesh Electronics

You can find Ganesh Electronics on Kim Bellasis Road in Colaba, right near Po 112. This is an old part of the city and the building we are in has a lot of history to it. We have been doing electronics work here for a long time. The shop is filled with all sorts of old and new gadgets, and sometimes it feels like we are running out of room for everything. We do a lot of repairs on televisions and other home electronics. There are usually a few half-taken-apart sets sitting on the floor waiting for parts to arrive. It is a bit of a maze inside with all the boxes and spare parts tucked into every corner. The street outside is always full of people and cars, so it is never quiet here. We know the other shop owners on the block and we often chat while we are standing out front. It is not a corporate setup at all, just a local repair shop where we do things our own way. Sometimes we have to hunt for a part for an older model that nobody makes anymore, but that is just part of the job. We stay busy with the locals who have known us for years and we just take each day as it comes, fixing what we can and keeping the shop open for whoever stops by on Bellasis Road.
