We are situated near Kamela Darwaja on the Ring Road in the ChoriYasi area of Surat. If you have ever been around here, you know how incredibly hectic it gets. The streets are always packed with rickshaws, delivery trucks, and workers carrying heavy cloth bundles. Our shop is not a fancy showroom. It is a very practical textile space. We have rolls of different fabrics stacked up high, sometimes reaching the ceiling. It is a traditional way of doing business. We don't have much room for fancy desks, so we usually sit where we can among the stock. The air is always full of that specific smell of new fabric and dust. We spend our day talking to buyers and making sure the new arrivals from the mills are sorted. Ring Road is the main hub for the textile world in Surat, and being in Ambaji Market means we are right in the thick of it.
