Firoz Ansari

We are located at number 9 in the New Ghandi Colony. It is right there by the sugar factory in Madhi. If you live around here, you know the smell of the factory during the season. It’s something you just get used to after a while. Firoz Ansari started this here because it’s where he lives and where he knows people. Bardoli is a quiet place mostly, but the colony gets lively in the evenings. We don't have a big team or a HR department or anything like that. It is just a few of us working out of this space. We do our own cleaning and fix our own tea. The furniture is old, but it’s comfortable enough for a long day. Sometimes the trucks from the factory block the road, so we have to wait to get anything delivered. We don't mind. It gives us a chance to talk to the neighbors. This isn't some high-tech office. We use paper and pens a lot and we keep our records in big folders. It feels more real that way. We like being part of the Madhi community. People drop by just to say hello sometimes without even needing anything. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy logo. We just show up every morning, open the door, and do what needs to be done.
