FABRIC STORY PRIVATE LIMITED

We are over at Plot No. 309/3 in the GIDC Pandesara area. Our place is situated right behind Pioneer Syntex, which is a large landmark that most people in this part of town know. Being in an industrial zone like Pandesara means the surroundings are always humming with the sound of workers and heavy vehicles moving around. We started Fabric Story because we wanted to work with textiles in a way that felt a bit more direct and personal. Our space is basically just a large warehouse with a small office area partitioned off in the corner. It’s definitely not a pretty building, but it’s very practical for the kind of work we do every day. We handle quite a few different types of fabrics, and there’s almost always a truck being loaded or unloaded at the gate. The air around this part of town usually smells like a mix of industrial dyes and machinery, which is just part of the life here. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees or anything like that. We’re a smaller team where everyone knows each other’s names and we all pitch in when things get behind. We have to be very careful with the machines and the fabric rolls, because mistakes can be quite expensive in this trade. Some days get a bit stressful when we have tight deadlines, but other days are just about the routine of checking inventory. We don't spend much on advertising. We just rely on the work.
