Fablon Fabric is located at Plot Number 12 in the Om Industrial Estate, which is over in Kosad Chorasi. It’s on the outskirts of Surat, which makes it a little bit quieter than the main city markets, but it’s still very much a busy working area with plenty of activity. We have our setup here where we handle various fabric-related tasks and production. The space is mostly industrial, so there’s plenty of room for our machines and the storage of raw materials. We aren't the type of people who care much for fancy presentations or office decor. Our main focus is always on the production side of things and making sure the machines are running right. We’ve got a small crew of people who really know the ropes and we just get on with the daily job. The roads around Kosad can be a little bit rough sometimes, especially after it rains, but the delivery trucks still manage to get in and out every day. We spend most of our time managing the looms and checking the fabric that comes off them. Making fabric is a process that you can't really rush if you want it to come out right. We even have some older machines that we’ve kept in good shape because they just seem to work better for certain types of weaves. It’s not a shiny new factory, but it’s our space and it works for what we do. We deal with wholesale orders mostly and stay busy.
