Exact Telecom

Being on Ring Road means there is never a moment of silence. The cars and bikes are always zooming past. Exact Telecom is right there on the edge of it. I spend my days watching the traffic and helping people who pull over because they realized their phone died or they need a new SIM. The shop is long and narrow. I’ve got a counter that runs along one side and some stools for customers to sit on. It’s usually quite bright in here because of the big front windows, though it gets a bit hot in the afternoons. I have a lot of different chargers and earphones hanging on the walls. People are always in a rush on Ring Road, so I try to be quick with the repairs. I’ve gotten pretty fast at swapping out batteries while people wait. Sometimes a regular customer will come in and stay for a bit longer, talking about their day while I work. We have a small fridge in the back for cold water, which is a lifesaver during the summer months. The sign outside has seen better days, the sun has faded the colors a bit, but everyone still knows it’s us. It’s a straightforward business. We provide what people need for their phones and keep them moving on their way. That's just the daily routine here, and we're used to the noise.
