Dhanhar Masala Bhandar

Dhanhar Masala Bhandar is located in Dhanhar House. You can find us at Bhajiwali Pole in the Bhagal area. It’s a very old part of the city with narrow streets and a lot of history. The building has been with us for a long time. When you walk inside, you can usually smell the spices immediately. It’s a strong scent that sticks to your clothes. We don't have a modern office setup. It’s more of a traditional space where we handle the masalas. There are bags of ingredients stacked up in the corners. We spend our days weighing things out and getting the mixes right. It’s a family-run kind of place. We don't have a board of directors. Decisions are made around the table. The Bhajiwali Pole area is always crowded. There are always people walking by and scooters zooming through. We’ve seen the market change over the decades. Some of the old shops are gone, but we’re still here in Bhagal. We don't use fancy packaging machines for everything. A lot of it is still done the way we've always done it. It’s simple, honest work. We aren't looking to change much. We just like being part of this neighborhood. People know where Dhanhar House is if they need their spices. We’ll just keep doing what we do. It’s our way of life here in the old city.
