Walking into our place at Udhnagam 317, you’ll probably notice the smell of plastic and the sound of the cutting machine right away. It’s what we do all day long. We spend most of our time sticking things onto phones or trying to get a design to look right on a small screen cover. It’s a bit messy sometimes because we have scraps of vinyl and old covers lying around on the work table. We aren't trying to be some high-end studio; it’s just a local shop where people come when they want their phone to look a bit different. Some customers are really picky about the colors, so we spend a lot of time showing them different sheets of material. The street outside is usually busy with people going to work, so we get a good mix of folks dropping in. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back on. It’s not a complicated business. We just take whatever people bring us and try to make it work. The walls are covered with some of the older designs we did, mostly because we never got around to taking them down. It’s just how it is here. We start around ten in the morning and stay until the last customer leaves, which is usually around dinner time. Sometimes my cousin comes by to help when we have a lot of printing orders.
