We are located on City Light Road, right near the 18th Mai Hall. If you’re looking for the 2nd stage area, our hall is number 234 and that is where we set things up. It’s a pretty standard building, nothing special to look at from the outside, but it works for what we need. Inside, we have some chairs and desks for the students who come by after school. It can get a bit loud when the classes are changing over or when the kids are waiting outside, but that’s just how it is with a bunch of people in one spot. We started Desire Institute because there weren't many places around here for extra help with studies. Most days, we’re just sitting there going over notes or helping someone understand a tough chapter in a textbook. There’s a tea stall around the corner where everyone goes during the breaks to get a snack. The ceiling fans hum quite a bit in the classrooms, but you get used to the noise after ten minutes. We don’t have fancy posters or big bright lights. Just whiteboards and some markers that usually run dry at the wrong time. The 18th Mai Hall is a good landmark if you’re getting lost on the way here. We’ve seen a lot of kids come through these doors over the years. Some are hardworking, others need a bit of a push. It’s a basic setup that serves the local community.
