You can find Desai Electronics at Udhna Bara Chawl, right on Senapati Bapat Marg at F/215. We have been in this specific spot for quite a while now. It is a very busy part of the city. We deal with all sorts of electronic bits and pieces. Everything from small light switches to bigger parts for home appliances. The shop is usually filled with cardboard boxes. I try to keep it tidy, but when new stock arrives, it gets a bit cramped for space. I know exactly where everything is, though. Folks from the chawl come by when something at home suddenly stops working. Maybe a ceiling fan or a kitchen light fixture. We do not do much fancy talking or marketing. If you need a specific length of wire, I have got it. If you need a fuse, I have got that too. It is a practical kind of place for practical people. I spend a lot of time testing items on my workbench to make sure they are working right before I sell them. My father started this shop years ago and I just took it over. We keep the same hours every day. Sometimes people stop in just to say hello while they are out walking on the marg. It is a community thing for us. We are not looking to become some giant store. We just like being the place people can rely on when things act up.
