Deepak Mobile

Deepak Mobile is over on City Light Road. It is a pretty well-known street. We have been here for a good few years. The shop is mostly for mobile phones and fixing them up when they break. We see a lot of water damage, especially during the rainy season. People drop their phones in all sorts of places. We try our best to dry them out and get them working again. City Light Road is always busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. We keep the shop open late most nights. It is just me and one other guy usually. We have a glass counter that is full of different phone models. Some are new and some are second-hand. We tell people exactly what they are getting. There is no use in lying about it. If a phone is old, it is old. We have a small TV in the corner that is usually on the news or a cricket match. It keeps us company during the quiet hours in the morning. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking back and forth. I think it adds character. We do not have a big mission or anything. We just fix phones and sell what people need. It is a simple business. We know the regulars and they know us. That is enough to keep us going year after year. City Light Road is a good place to be.
