You can find D. Raj Tex Fab LLP over on Vasta Devi Road in Surat. We are on the second floor of a building at Plot C/2, specifically on the left side. It’s a bit of an industrial area, so there is always a lot of movement and dust in the air. We focus on the textile and fabric side of things, which is pretty common for this part of Surat. Our workspace is mostly filled with samples and rolls of cloth. It isn't a place for meetings or looking professional; it's a place for working. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and checking for defects. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, so moving heavy rolls can be a real workout some days. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one so people know they’re at the right place. Most of our day is spent talking to the weavers or the guys who do the finishing. It’s a straightforward business. We don't use big words or have a complicated setup. We just try to get the fabric from point A to point B without too many headaches. It’s loud, it’s busy, and the fans are always running to keep the heat down. That’s just the way it goes here in the textile hub. We get the work done and go home.
