Coupling Chemicals

We are out here at Plot No- 7125 in the G.I.D.C. area of Sachin. If you know this part of the world, you know it is all industry and trucks. Coupling Chemicals is not much to look at from the outside, just a big gate and some warehouse space. We deal with a lot of chemical drums and mixing equipment. The air around here always has that metallic, industrial scent. It gets incredibly hot in the afternoons, especially inside the sheds, so we try to get the heavy loading done in the morning. I spend a lot of my time checking on the workers and making sure we have not run out of supplies. The paperwork is probably the worst part of the job, but it has to be done. Our floors are concrete and usually have some scuff marks from the forklifts. We do not have any polished boardrooms here. Most meetings happen standing up near the loading dock. It is a gritty kind of work, and your clothes usually end up smelling like the shop by the end of the shift. We have been at this plot for a good while now. The roads in Sachin can be a bit rough after the rains, which makes shipping things out a bit of a challenge. But we just deal with it as it comes. It is just a regular business trying to stay busy every single day.
