Citizen Mobile

Citizen Mobile is located right by Samrala Chowk here in Surat. It is a loud spot with all the traffic passing through, but that brings plenty of people through the front door. We handle all kinds of mobile stuff. Mostly we do repairs and sell second-hand devices that still have plenty of life left in them. The shop is not much to look at. We have some posters on the wall that are a few years old now and the paint is peeling a bit. I keep the tools and spare parts behind the main counter. People come in from the market across the way after they have dropped their phone on the pavement or spilled something on the screen. I do what I can to get the devices working again. Some days it feels like I am just changing batteries all day long. I have got a small stool for customers to sit on if the repair is going to take a while. It is just a regular local business. We do not have fancy uniforms or a big sales pitch for anyone. I just tell people what the repair will cost and how long it will take me to finish. If I cannot fix it, I will say so straight away. No point in wasting anyone's time. The neighbors around the chowk are good people and we all look out for each other. It has been this way for a long time now.
