Changawala Textiles Private Limited

Changawala Textiles Private Limited is located over at plot number 10 in the Ambika Industrial Society. This is in the Majura area of Surat. We have a pretty decent-sized space that covers the ground floor, the first floor, and the second floor. It’s an industrial area, so don’t expect anything quiet or pretty. There’s always the sound of machinery and trucks coming and going. We focus on textile production. It’s hard work, and we spend most of our time on our feet moving between the different floors. The ground floor is where the heavy machines are, and it can get quite hot and noisy down there. We’ve been in Surat for a long time, and we know how the local industry works. We don't have a big marketing budget or a mission statement. We just make the fabric and try to make sure there aren't too many defects in the weave. Our staff is mostly local guys from the neighborhood. We eat our lunch together and talk about the business. It’s not a corporate environment at all; it’s more like a big family where everyone knows what they have to do. Sometimes the orders are late because of power issues or transport problems, but we do what we can to catch up. It’s just a typical textile unit in the heart of Surat’s industrial zone, doing its thing every day.
