CD Collection

CD Collection is a little spot we have over in Umarkutch. These days, people don't use discs as much as they used to, but we still have plenty of them around. We also have some other electronics and bits and pieces that folks in the neighborhood look for. The shop in Umarkutch is quite small, so every inch of wall space is covered with shelves. It can be a bit of a maze if you don't know where things are kept. We spend a lot of time dusting the cases because they seem to attract it like a magnet. Some people come in looking for old movies or music that they can't find on the internet easily. It's nice to see someone get excited about finding a particular title. We don't have any big fancy displays, just the stacks of items we've collected over the years. The lighting inside is a bit dim because one of the overhead bulbs keeps flickering and we haven't gotten around to changing it yet. Usually, it's just one of us behind the small counter. We listen to the radio while we work and wait for the next person to walk through the door. It’s a quiet way to spend the day, really. We aren't looking to expand or anything, we just like having our little corner here to run our business our own way.
