Capital Design

We operate out of room 103 in the Bhagyalaxmi Apartment. It’s over on LH Road in the Kuber Nagar part of town. Since we’re in an apartment building, it doesn't feel like a typical store. It’s more like a workshop where we get things done. We focus on different types of design work. Most of the time, we're just sitting at our desks with our heads down. It’s a small operation. We don't have big signs or anything, so you have to look for the building name. Living and working in Surat means we deal with the usual city stuff, like the heat and the busy streets outside. We’ve set up our space to be practical. There’s enough room for our equipment and a couple of chairs for when people visit. We do work for local businesses and individuals who just need something designed. It’s not a fancy office with leather chairs or coffee machines. It’s just a place where we work. We try to be honest about how long things will take. If we’re busy, we’ll tell you. We don’t try to act like we’re some huge firm with hundreds of employees. We’re just local people doing design work in the 395006 area. Most of our clients come by word of mouth from people we've worked with before. It's been that way for a while now and it works for us. We just keep the lights on and keep sketching until the job is done.
