Belpatra Textiles Private Limited is up on the fifth floor of the Empire State building, right at Udhna Darwaja on Ring Road. If you work in the textile trade in Surat, you definitely know Ring Road. It’s the heart of the whole industry here. Being in office 504 gives us a good spot in a very famous building. It’s a lot different from the factory floors. Up here, it’s mostly about the business side of things—trading, taking orders, and meeting with people. The elevators in the Empire State building are always busy, and there’s a constant stream of people coming and going. It’s a high-energy place. We don't have a large staff, just a few guys who have been working the market for years. Our office is filled with sample books and calculators. We don't have any fancy art on the walls or a big reception desk. It’s just a place to get work done. From our windows, we can see the traffic crawling along Ring Road, which is pretty much the view for everyone in this part of town. We’ve been in this building for some time now and it feels like the right place for us. Udhna Darwaja is a landmark, so it makes it easy for people to find us. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most of our business happens through the connections we’ve made over the years sitting right here in office 504.
