B B C Electronics

We are over on Varachha Road Nagdevi. B B C Electronics is full of wires, circuit boards, and old components that we have collected over the years. It smells a bit like solder and dust in here, which is pretty common for an electronics shop. We spend a lot of time hunched over workbenches with magnifying glasses trying to see what went wrong inside a television or a radio. It is quiet work but it requires a lot of patience. The Nagdevi area is quite busy so there is a constant hum of traffic coming from Varachha Road. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling and sometimes we have to use a shaky ladder to find a part that hasn't been touched in months. We are not trying to be a big fancy store with shiny displays. We just have our tools and our parts and we do the work that comes our way. Sometimes a customer brings in something so old we have to tell them we can't find the pieces for it anymore. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the news while we work. It is a comfortable place for us. We have been in this same spot for a while and the walls are covered in notes and phone numbers scribbled in pen. It is just a regular shop for regular people.
